Question:
Why is it that the different floors require different adhesives? Aren't most of them rubber floors? If an adhesive works for one floor, shouldn't it work for the others? - C. Neilsen, Mays Landing, NU
Answer:
For the most part, we use polyurethane adhesives with our rubber floors. It not only has good adhesion, but it acts as a moisture barrier as well. Each manufacturer has done testing of different brands (some even manufacturer their own adhesive) and recommends what they consider the best. To maintain the warranty, the manufacturer will require that we use their recommended adhesive. Hence the different size units and the variable costs.
