"Selecting a new flooring system for our YMCA project was no different than the choices I would make for my home, except for one. We would be hosting a party for 3,200 of our friends and their families daily!
I had the pleasure to work with Gregg Maloley from Centaur Floor Systems and articulate our vision and forecasted use of over 20,000 square feet of new and renovated space. Our priorities were: durability, aesthetics, cleanliness, and comfort. The other obvious equation was working within a budget that would provide us with the highest quality within the best price. All said and done, we selected the EcoFlor system for our 14,000 sq. ft. Health and Well-being Center and all our multipurpose children activity spaces. In addition, we choose the Boflex flooring system for our new group exercise spaces.
We have been in operation now for almost one year and service over 20,000 members! Maintenance and cleanliness remain a top priority which keeps these spaces still looking brand new! My advice to those who are going through this selection process, 'do not cut costs or quality on your flooring systems'. This is a long term investment for a daily appreciation! "
