Question:
"We just had a Gymlastic floor installed at our church. There are some 'lap lines' in the floor. What causes them and how do we get rid of them?"
-Dave, Graham, WA
Answer:
The lap lines occur because the top coat is rolled on and the overlapping of the top coat sometimes leaves a slightly thicker layer. This is a normal occurrence and does not affect the performance of the floor. The lap lines will fade after a few cleanings with an orbital cleaning machine.
Be sure to use a neutral PH cleaner like Taski Profi.
