Feature: Floor Coverings for your Locker Room Areas

Continuing our series on floor coverings for specific areas of your facility. This month we will concentrate on your Locker Room Area. The locker room surfaces are a very difficult area when it comes to floor coverings. You do not want a nylon carpet in the area as it will stain, zipper and hold odor. You also have to be very concerned with slippery surfaces. The locker room has an entry area; a locker/changing area; as well as a sink and shower area. For purposes of this article we will be concentrating on the locker room entry; locker/changing and the sink areas.
SPORT WEAVE:
Extremely durable floor covering for the locker room entry and locker/changing areas. An inexpensive, multi-purpose rubber based floor covering most commonly offered as a tile. BOLON:
A low profile, aesthetically pleasing product that comes in either a tile or roll good application. Can be utilized within locker room entry, changing and sink areas. Bolon is a smooth, yet non-slip vinyl product that is antimicrobial in nature. During manufacture, the vinyl is combined with additional substances, such as calcium carbonate, which, like salt, is a renewable resource. The material is 100% recyclable. TILE:
Made from vinyl and available in 18" x 18" tiles. Ideal locker room entry product. Tile products offer authentic, cutting edge standard designs.
