Question:

When renovating an older facility does the old floor always have to be torn out?   Tear out and floor prep are very expensive.

-- Jennifer, Claremont, CA.

Answer:

Jennifer, the owner of Get U Fit in Claremont, CA called us recently to ask our advice on how to attack a flooring challenge that had confronted her. She had just had a new floor installed in her facility and the quality of the workmanship did not meet her standards.

She did not want to rip out the new floor and asked if we had any ideas.   Not every situation allows for this simple of a solution, but after a thorough review of the floor by the installation company, it was suggested that going over the existing floor with SportWeave was the most cost effective and efficient solution.

The end results can be observed in the accompanying photos.   Note the baseboard treatment in this photo (see below).   This was the brainchild of the installation company, Fitness Floor Install.   Looks pretty sharp!

When flooring challenges stare you down, don't panic.   Give us a call and we will work with you to come up with a solution.
