Question:

You talk about Boflex Hardwood Flooring quite a bit.   Do you sell other types of wood floors?

-- R. Credence, Annapolis, MD.

Answer:

We do, especially if we encounter a "depressed slab".   One of the advantages of Boflex is its low profile of 1 1/8".   But what if the existing slab has been depressed, say 2 5/8"?   We could pour concrete and fill the slab, but that is very expensive.   As an option, we would offer a traditional Iso-cushion system that has a 2 5/8" profile.   This type of floor is labor intensive to install but the performance is equal to the Boflex and provides the right floor for the application.   For new construction and level slabs we will always promote the Boflex floor because of it's features, benefits, ease of installation, wearability and price.
