National Fitness Trade Show 2009
July 23, 2009
Question:Last issue you gave the National Fitness Trade Show a pretty good plug.
What makes this show so different?
L. Pharis, Camden, N.J.
Answer:
The NFTS has been around for 28 years. It is not the biggest, it doesn't
have the largest attendance, nor is it the most expensive. In fact the
trade show admission is free, the seminars are free, the awards banquet is
free, and the Ms Fitness USA and World Contest admission tickets are free.
So the price is definitely right! But this show is a case where you receive
way more than you pay for. The show is intimate and you get to spend
quality time with the vendors. The seminars feature the top speakers in our
industry, Bill Pearl, Mike Chaet, Red Lerille, Donna Krech, Steve Lundin,
Norm Cates and more. This year's awards banquet will honor Mark Mastrov,
the innovator behind the 24 Hour Fitness chain. This year's venue is the
Grand Sierra Resort outside of Reno, a luxury facility offered to attendees
at a discounted rate, $79 a night.
Trade Shows are for learning, networking, purchasing, entertainment, and
hopefully a little R and R. The National Fitness Trade Show has
consistently offered the best value for your trade show dollar. Please plan
to attend.
And by the way, Centaur will be introducing some of the new "ECO" products
at the show. Come see us!
