Slip'n Slide
January 23, 2008
Question:
My dog training club purchased flooring from your company 16 months ago. We have been using the Taski Profi Cleaner and Taski Vision Matte floor finish on a regular basis. However, recently our floor has become slippery. There
is a problem with dogs slipping and sliding during routine training. Help!
- Beth
Answer:To decrease the slippage use a high concentration of the Profi and let it sit on the floor for 15-20 minutes. Use a floor scrubbing machine (soft pad) and scrub the floor. Rinse. Do not put the Vision Matte on the floor for the next few cleanings.
What probably happened was that a build up of Vision Matte has "closed the pores" of the recycled rubber thus reducing the friction coefficient. The Vision Matte needs to be "stripped" every so often to 'expose" the rubber. Hope this helps. We don't want any "wipe outs" on the obstacle course!
