Question:
Is there a right or wrong way to install the Plank tile? We want to avoid a repetitive pattern look.
-- C. Henno, Ventura, CA.

Answer:
Plank is an LVT tile that is designed to look like wood. Each plank has been imprinted with a realistic looking wood grain. When installed correctly, it emulates the look of a real hardwood floor. To avoid the "repetitive look", the manufacturer recommends different installation procedures such as the "H" pattern or the "pyramid".
The installer should show the customer examples of the different installation styles and allow the customer to make the decision of what pattern would best suit their taste.
