Question:If product is in inventory, why does it take three weeks to deliver?

Answer: We get asked that question almost every day. First of all, Centaur is a distributor and not a manufacturer. We deal with over a dozen manufacturers and each of them has different procedures. When we receive your order we process it within 24 hours of receipt. Upon receiving the order, the manufacturer places the order on its list and processes it in a timely fashion. That time frame is based on their order volume, inventory availability, and processing time. Once the order is processed, the trucking company is notified and the pick up is scheduled. Because our orders are shipped LTL (less than a truck load) there may be several other orders on the truck that get delivered first.

As you can see, there are a lot of factors that come to play when determining the time frame for delivery. There are a lot of fingers in the pie!
